Fransız Film Yapımcısı Bertrand Bonello 8 Mayıs 2018 de başlayıp, 19 Mayıs 2018 de bitecek olan 71. Cannes Film Festivalinde Cinéfondation ve kısa film jürilerinde yer alıyor.

Bonello kısa film yapımcılarından beklentilerini ise şöyle açıklıyor;

Henüz tanınmayan genç filmcilerden ne bekleriz? Bakmadıklarımıza bakmamızı ve görmediklerimiz  görebilmemizi sağlamalarını isteriz. Çünkü onlar henüz özgür ve cür’etkârdır; söylemek istediklerini hiç çekinmeden acımasızca ve bizim bir zamanlar sahip olduğumuz ama şimdi sahip olamadığımız küstahlıkla ifade edebilirler.

Cinéfondation 20 senedir bu özgür seslerin duyulabilmesi için uğraş veriyor ve ben bu uğraşın bu sene bir parçası olabildiğim için son derece gururluyum.

French Filmmaker Bertrand Bonello will chair the Cinéfondation and short films Jury in the occasion of the 71rst edition of the Festival de Cannes from May 8 to 19 May 2018.

“What do we expect from youth, unknown filmmakers, first films? Let them shove us, let them make us look at what we are not capable of seeing, that they have the freedom, the edge, the recklessness and the audacity that sometimes we no longer have. The Cinéfondation has been working for 20 years to make these voices heard and I am extremely proud of being able to accompany them this year.
